Fields Lab for Network Science
Postdoctoral research positions are available starting August 2026. Research will span computational analyses of neural data and applied mathematics to understand computation in neural networks. Researchers will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams in computational and theoretical projects on traveling waves in neural systems [paper link], analyses of spikes in large neural populations [paper link], and spatiotemporal computation in recurrent neural networks [paper link]. The lab will also maintain an ongoing collaboration with the Lab for Network Computation at the Fields Institute.
